About

Dr. Craig E. Soaries is a visionary leader, academician, strategist, musician, and global organizational and cultural consultant. With over four decades of international influence, he has shaped a dynamic career that bridges academia, ministry, leadership, music, and community development. Through a fusion of ethnographic, qualitative, and quantitative methodologies, Dr. Soaries empowers institutions to restructure, communities to thrive, and individuals to realize their leadership potential. His work is grounded in ethical service, intercultural understanding, and a profound respect for human dignity.
A native of Montclair, New Jersey, Dr. Soaries was raised in a nurturing, intellectually enriched household that valued education, spirituality, and the arts. At the age of eleven, he was selected as the only African-American male to attend a demonstration junior high/high school taught by college professors on the campus of Montclair State University. He later earned degrees from Ithaca College, Mercer University, Old Dominion University, and a Doctorate in Management and Linguistic Anthropology from Case Western Reserve University. His academic journey laid the foundation for his interdisciplinary expertise in music, theology, communication, and leadership studies—disciplines he continues to integrate into his teaching, research, and global consulting.
As a concert organist, academic leader, and social entrepreneur, Dr. Soaries offers a rare blend of intellectual rigor, artistic brilliance, and heartfelt service. He is equally at home mentoring underserved youth, advising C-suite executives, or performing sacred music across continents. With a deep commitment to emotional intelligence and the elevation of marginalized voices, his mission is to nurture leaders who are spiritually grounded, ethically driven, and culturally agile. Whether in classrooms, boardrooms, sanctuaries, or concert halls, Dr. Soaries consistently advances the belief that true transformation begins with vision, values, and voice.
